Our body safety education centre
Explore Smash the Patriarchy's body-safety learning resources for families, schools and colleges, including age-appropriate lesson planning.
Learning that fits the audience
The education centre organises learning by age group, setting and goals. Topics include body boundaries, consent, trusted support and digital safety. A family conversation and a classroom session need different preparation, so the centre provides ways to adapt the starting point.
Prepare before starting a session
Read the selected material and the guidance for the setting before using it with a group. Choose fictional examples, avoid asking learners to reveal personal experiences, and think through how a private concern could be raised after the session.
Teaching and responding are different tasks
A lesson is not an investigation or a substitute for qualified safeguarding support. The centre includes disclosure-response guidance alongside teaching material. If a concern arises, shift attention from completing the lesson to the relevant response guidance and support routes.
