Voter record civic agency है
Woman vote, contest, Gram Sabha में question, local budget follow, campaign join या candidate support न करने का choice रखती है। Husband, landlord, employer, caste group या family उसकी political voice own नहीं करते।
Registration personal है
Eligible citizen apply, name check और correction request कर सकती है। Relative form में help करे, registration या vote decide न करे।
Marriage के बाद move right erase नहीं करता
Ordinary residence change होने पर electoral roll shift/correction चाहिए हो सकता है। Safety matter करे तो address/contact choice private रखें।
Vote के बदले documents न दें
Aadhaar, rent paper, phone या transport रखने वाला family member candidate promise के बदले वापस न रोके।
Political participation vote से अधिक है
Woman Gram Sabha, budget, ward meeting, campaign, union या community organisation में question और leadership कर सकती है।
Public visibility से पहले safety
Threat, stalking, communal pressure या online exposure participation affect कर सकते हैं। Polling place तक safe route और help का private तरीका रखें।
Election Commission से registration कैसे करें
ECI current guidance के अनुसार qualifying date पर कम-से-कम 18 वर्ष का Indian citizen और area में ordinarily resident applicant कर सकता है। New general voter के लिए Form 6, shifting/correction के लिए Form 8 है।
New registration के लिए Form 6
Election Commission voter services से online apply करें या Electoral Registration Officer, Assistant ERO या Booth Level Officer को form दें। Acknowledgement रखें।
Qualifying dates check करें
ECI age के लिए 1 January, 1 April, 1 July और 1 October qualifying dates बताता है। Current portal से advance application process पूछें।
Existing record में Form 8
Form 8 residence shift, entries correction, EPIC replacement और person with disability marking cover कर सकता है। Current form और documents check करें।
Overseas elector का अलग form
Eligible overseas citizen को Form 6A और अलग process चाहिए हो सकता है। General voter form submit करने से पहले ECI requirements पूछें।
Roll check और help
Electoral roll search, Voter Helpline App या 1950 use करें। Application और tracking details रखिए।
Documents, address और privacy
Registration ऐसा हो कि controlling relative को हर identity document या account का permanent access न देना पड़े।
Accepted age और residence proof
Current Form 6 और guidelines documents और ordinary residence समझाते हैं। Usual document न हो तो ERO/BLO से alternative proof privately पूछें।
Aadhaar political consent नहीं है
Form में Aadhaar field और ‘Aadhaar furnish नहीं कर सकती’ option है। Current form follow करें और family member को OTP न दें।
Name और gender entry accurate रखें
State language और English spelling, gender, date of birth और address check करें। Correction current process से मांगी जा सकती है।
Students और conventional housing न रखने वाले लोग
ECI guidelines eligible students को parent या hostel address और कुछ people without standard documents के लिए field verification describe करती हैं। Local officer से privately पूछें।
Application trail protect करें
Reference number, documents और contact details ऐसे रखें जिन्हें partner/employer बदल न सके। Supporter को copy भेजते समय unrelated information crop करें।

Family control, discrimination और access
Family documents रख सकती है, landlord address proof deny कर सकता है, partner phone monitor कर सकता है या polling place inaccessible हो सकता है। Remedy barrier हटाए, vote takeover न करे।
Officer woman से direct बात करे
Supporter permission से translate, accompany या upload कर सकता है। Woman status पाए और personal data share करने का decision खुद करे।
Accessible participation मांगें
Disabled woman को accessible polling place, transport, communication support या disability marking चाहिए हो सकता है। ECI का current local arrangement पूछें।
Political preference private रखें
कोई form woman से candidate preference नहीं मांगता। Ballot photo या dangerous location post न करें।
Refusal या intimidation record करें
Office, date, officer, missing document, threat, blocked transport या pressure note करें। Written reason, complaint contact या 1950 support मांगें।
Threat में emergency और legal support
Immediate violence में 112 call करें। Family/community pressure बढ़े तो Women Helpline 181 या legal services से safe route पूछें।
Local decision-making में women की voice
Registration एक step है। Political equality में Gram Sabha, local budget, ward meeting, campaign, union और community organisation में सुना जाना भी शामिल है।
Vote को question से जोड़ें
Candidates और local offices से water, sanitation, safety, childcare, transport, work, disability access और violence response पर पूछें। Question और answer record करें।
Reservation tokenism नहीं
Panchayati Raj Institutions की reserved seats leadership route खोल सकती हैं। Proxy relative elected woman की voice या signature replace न करे।
Meetings safe और accessible बनाएं
Timing, lighting, transport, childcare, language support और private complaint route दें। Attendance के लिए home address expose न करें।
Layered barriers वाली women include करें
Caste, disability, age, religion, sexuality, migration और poverty political access shape कर सकते हैं। Room में कौन missing है पूछें।
Participation voluntary रखें
Supporter meeting notice share या accompany कर सकता है; candidate, speech, donation या public appearance force न करे।
लोग क्या पूछते हैं
First time voter registration कैसे करें?
Eligible Indian citizen, qualifying date पर 18 और ordinarily resident person Form 6 online या local electoral officer के जरिए apply कर सकती है। Acknowledgement रखें।
Marriage के बाद address बदल गया तो?
Electoral roll check करें और current Form 8 shifting/correction process use करें। ERO/BLO residence proof और verification पूछें।
क्या family मेरे लिए form भर सकती है?
Supporter language/access में help कर सकता है, पर woman details verify, tracking receive और data/vote use decide करे।
Polling place inaccessible हो तो?
ECI की current accessibility और assistance arrangement पूछें, polling station/problem record करें। Disabled voter Form 8 marking के बारे में भी पूछ सकती है।
Supporter क्या कहे?
‘आपका voter record और vote आपके हैं। मैं Form 6, documents या 1950 call में help करूँगा, details, candidate और public participation का decision आपका रहेगा।’
